Third International Conference on Interpreting Quality

ICIQ3, the Third International Conference on Interpreting Quality, will be held in Granada, Spain, 5-7 October 2017.

The abstract-submission period has ended. We are pleased to announce that we have received papers from the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific area.

The peer-review process will complete on Thursday, June 15th 2017. Thereafter, the final programme will be published, and the Book of Abstracts will be sent to all participants.

Registrations received before Friday, June 30th will benefit from an early-bird discount. We look forward to seeing you in beautiful Granada!

Conference Goals

This conference is intended as a platform for fruitful dialogue on language interpreting quality. It will bring together a variety of perspectives and promote exchange at different levels:

Conference Themes

The conference will address a number of topics, including, but not limited to the following: quality criteria in different interpreting settings, user expectations and needs, quality perception and quality measurement, quality assurance in the interpreting process, nonprofessional interpreting, method transfer across disciplines.

The programme was designed to engage delegates in lively debate. Invited Speakers include some of the most reknowned experts in the field.
