To get to Granada, you have the options below.

By plane via Malaga

From Malaga Airport (AGP), Malaga Bus Station "María Zambrano" can be reached in two ways:
  • Suburban train, operated by Renfe. The stop is opposite terminal T3.
  • City bus route number 75, operated by EMT. The stop is in the arrival area of terminal T3.  
From Malaga Bus Station, Granada Bus Station can be reached by coach, operated by Alsa. For directions from there, see under "By coach" below.

By plane

From Granada-Jaén Airport "Federico García Lorca" (GRX), Granada can be reached by suburban bus route number 245 (€2.90).

By train

The railway company Renfe offers ICIQ3 delegates a 30% discount on the Flexible Fare. For more information, see Railway Offers.

Granada Train Station (GMaps) is connected to Madrid, Malaga and other destinations (More...).

From the station, walk straight ahead for 300 m. Then, turn right into Avenida de la Constitución. From there, you can get to the city centre using the LAC circle line (Bus stop "Andaluces"), which is connected to other city-bus routes.

Note: Tickets for the LAC line (€1.40) must be purchased and validated at the bus stop, before boarding the bus. Transfer to other routes is free of charge within 45 minutes.

By coach

Granada Bus Station (GMaps) is serviced by several companies, including Alsa.

In front of the Bus Station, you can take the metro tramway or a city bus to the city centre. Bus line SN1 takes you to the Old Town, and line SN2 to the modern quarter around Camino de Ronda.

By car

Granada can be reached from the north/south via highway A-44 and from the east/west via highway A-92.
