Quality in Interpreting and Nonverbal Aspects

Ángel Jábega Murado is a professional musician and holds a university degree in translation and interpreting. He received postgraduate degrees from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the CaixaBank Foundation, the Regional Authority of Madrid and UNESCO-awarded Juventudes Musicales de Madrid to obtain postgraduate degrees in Germany and Austria. As a soloist and as a chamber musician, he has performed in major European concert halls and in a number of countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the USA. He is currently a faculty member of the Music Conservatory of the Principality of Asturias in Spain.

His research interests include the relation between musical and simultaneous interpretation, and more specifically one immediate aspect, namely sight-reading of the score of a piece of music while performing it.
